Resumen:
Con la denominación matrimonios de creencia se está haciendo referencia a la forma específica de celebración del matrimonio propia de determinadas organizaciones ideológicas o filosóficas, en las que tal forma de contraer matrimonio de sus miembros se presenta como parte integrante de su propia cosmovisión.
La pretensión de reconocimiento civil de tales formas de celebración del matrimonio viene siendo tema debatido, con posiciones contradictorias en la jurisprudencia de Inglaterra, Gales, Irlanda del Norte y la República de Irlanda.
Abstract:
The term marriages of belief refers to the specific form of marriage celebration of certain ideological or philosophical organizations, in which such a form of marriage of its members is presented as an integral part of their own worldview.
The claim for civil recognition of such forms of marriage has been a subject of debate, with contradictory positions in the jurisprudence of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
