Pandemic in Mexico: experiences from the Civil Registry

Resumen:


During the health emergency issued in Mexico due to the SAR-CoV2 virus (COVID-19), it is necessary to reflect on the protection of the right to identity, from the activity carried out in the Civil Registry for both the registration of births and of deaths, in which strategies were designed to streamline procedures so that services are provided to the population and human rights are respected; In this way, the measures adopted to guarantee the legal identity of people in one of the states with the highest number of infections in Mexico are analyzed: the state of Tabasco.
