Resumen:

La Seguridad Social en general y las prestaciones por desempleo y cese de actividad en particular resultan instrumentos idóneos para amortiguar el impacto social de la crisis del COVID-19. El presente estudio se centra en analizar el potencial de las distintas medidas que se han adoptado en este concreto ámbito para hacer frente a la crisis del coronavirus.

Abstract:

Social Security in general and unemployment benefits and cessation of activity in particular are ideal instruments to cushion the social impact of the COVID-19 crisis. This paper focuses on analyzing the potential of the different measures that have been adopted in this specific area to face the coronavirus crisis.
