The uncertain recognition of the proconsumer principle in the chilean legal system.

Resumen:
El presente trabajo analiza si el principio pro consumidor se encuentra adecuada y suficientemente reconocido en la Ley de Protección de los Derechos de los Consumidores chilena. Se llega a una conclusión negativa, tanto desde su consagración como principio general, como de las funciones explícitas que efectivamente se encuentran tipificadas.
Abstract:
The text analyzes whether the general pro-consumer principle of law is adequately and sufficiently recognized in the Chilean Consumer Protection Law. A negative conclusion is reached, both fromt its consecration as a general principle, and from the explicit functions that are effectively typified.
